First Herb Harvest

The herb harvest of today was chocolate and pepper-mint and comfrey leaves. Oh how wonderful the kitchen smells!

The comfrey I am drying for use in making an herbal burn salve with our home school co-op.

  3. Ah ha! You're the one with the beautiful "old world" kitchen! I do remember seeing pictures of your kitchen and falling in love with it. It looks even more amazing with your lovely herbs hanging about. We're in the middle of a kitchen remodel trying for the Old World Italian look, but we ran out of money - lol! So it won't be finished until next year, but that's ok :) It is relaxing to be in something that reminds me of simpler times, surrounded by what matters most in life - family and friends (and herbs - ha)! Love this post! And so love your kitchen :)
