Sharing the Martinmas Bread

Martinmas Lanterns

Merry Matinmas

I made each of the girls a little St Martin gnome today while telling the story of his generous spirit.  We are getting ready to gather some things to donate.  Thank you to the blog Our Waldorf Homeschool Journey for inspiration.

This has got to be the cutest possum I have ever seen (not a lot of competition), poor thing just wanted a little compost snack and got himself stuck.  It was so cold and he was all wet, it was truely pathetic.  We let him go right after he posed for this photo ;)

Men in Trees

wise words from the tree man...and it's a good thing because all school efforts came to a screeching hault when chain saws were fired up out back.

Last herb harvest of the year....

Lavender, rosemary, oregano, lemon verbena, patchouli and winter savory

Mamarazzi

Here's a fun way to keet the kiddos entertained.  Let them follow you around with the camera and capture your every move, we call this Mamarazzi!  Then, sit back and enjoy all the pictures of your rear ;)
