Macrame Owl

  1. I have always had a close connection with frogs, but owls are a close second. I just love them. We hear barn owls frequently here, and sometimes great horned owls, but I keep listening for a screech owl with no luck yet.

  2. The owls were very popular back in the 70's with macrame. I prefer the newer format, called micro macrame. I've been looking for patterns all over the place and haven't been able to find the style I like, so I've been creating my own. Anyway, I do like how your owl turned out. Keep at it. You might try using the cording, that is used in micro macrame.
