These Turtle Head flowers (chelone obliqua) have taken over my Mother-in-Law's flower bed. So no matter their beauty, she hates them for choking out her lilies. I asked her if I could cut a few and she said " Take 'em all!!!" So now, every few days I go and pick a fresh bouquet of....well, weeds.
I saw these beauties at Rachel's! I didn't remember ever seeing them before. Absolutely gorgeous! Do the blooms last very long after cutting? I want weeds!
ReplyDeleteI cut the ones you saw at Rachel's Sunday morning and they are just now starting to drop some flowers (Thurs). I will bring you some weeds :)
